PG - Isabell/Phillips
SG - Clark/Wright/Bello????/VanLeer
SF - Teki/Allen/Gant/Puryear
PF - J3???????
C - Rosburg

Some movement within that, but really, J3 is the closest we have to a PF and Rosburg is definitely our only true C

Yep, although I'd give Gant the "stretch 4" position...so technically a PF.But yeah, Rosburg is the only 5

Puryear is really a 6'7 (probably closer to 6'6) PF. From watching him this year he is definitely not a SF. If Gant can add mass he has the athleticism to be a good college PF like Bowers was.

Yeah, some movement within that like I said. Whether it's Isabell/Clark or Gant at a stretch 4.

You can get by playing small. There are very few true bigs in basketball.
You can't survive with multiple ballhandlers.
I sat 1 scholarship will be given to a big (4/5). If someone transfers out then we go guard.

Tyson Jolly released his top 5 and it doesn't include Mizzou. Bossi said he'd be a 4* in the next rankings.

Have to add at least two bigs now. Hopefully, he is one of them.

The fact that he is still mentioning us is positive....and that thon Maker is considering UK and IU is positive...because I'd bet they take Maker over Bryant.

Time for Fulford to show his true talents.

Recruiting is an impossible Catch22 for us.

The record breaking train wreck that was '14-15 season put is in a deep, ugly hole. Now, with the inevitable defections (commencing with losing your best player), you know '15-16 season will be even worse. Therefore, KA and staff will undoubtedly be replaced after the '15-16 season.

What noteworthy player will sign up for Mizzou knowing that the coach, and presumably the entire staff will be replaced after next season? We are in limbo until either KA miraculously starts winning or we get a new coaching staff. Until then, try to enjoy the shite-show as a comedy, not as real-life.

I disagree. Now you can sell playing time and "it can only get better now that you will be starting on our team."

Playing time didn't mean shite to JW3, he had 35mins a game.

It doesn't mean shite to the entire Kentucky roster.

Players want to be on teams that can win the big games so that they can get noticed by NBA scouts. Not be on a team that is dead last in conference, suffering key transfers, and a coaching staff with a shelf life of < 12 months.

I don't know about y'all, but when I was that age, it was all about winning. I had never played on a losing team and I would never have gone to a college where it looked like I could play for my first losing team. Playing time? Never even crossed my mind. I assumed I would play. Assumed I would beat out whoever else I was going up against.

Pretty strong opinion expressed that Bryant is not coming, and even the staff knows it.

I assume he told Fulford and KA that in their last sit down. We offered every big man we've met since then. So I took it as a sign of what went down.

That paragraph looks like it was written prior to the Bryant interview being published. I'll take Bryant at his word over an opinion for now. I do think we are his safety school though so we need some help but are technically still alive.

ETA: here is a LINK of the interview in case anybody hadn't seen it

Right, Bryant has said recently that hes not ruled out Missouri, and keeps in touch with Rob and Tiki often. Tiki is actually doing some recruiting for us.

Sounds like he is worried KA can't get him to the next level.

The world has changed since we were young. We are old farts now. We did not have a "posse" running with us. Playing time still sells and the preception that we are a basketball school and not a football school should help with recruiting. I live in Memphis and everyone down here is amazed (so am I) with our football success the last few years. I hear quotes like " where did this football team come from. We knew you guys were good at basketball but never saw this football team coming" or " the only reason I wanted you in the SEC was to help out with basketball".

Georgia and Texas have good basketball players and they think we are a BB school. There are two players having a good year on the Lakers this year. No recruits know that Frank Haith was their coach at Missouri. They just see Missouri next to their name on the roster page of the web site
