Depends on what kind of offer. Are these commitable? Or are the back up plans that are only there if everyone else says no to Mizzou.

PM claims they're committable, but I don't buy that until after we hear on Bryant. I find it very ironic that we're going after transfers after the speech KA gave back in April about building the right way without taking transfers. I don't see how taking a class full of mid major prospects will help going forward but idk.

I have a feeling they already know they're out on Bryant. Just my gut though, nothing more, and my gut is right about 90% of 1% of the time.

He never said he wasn't going to take transfers did he?
I though he was referring to what Haith did in having all of his core players being transfers, and having a completely different makeup every season.

He said he wasn't going to take transfers and would build us up with 4 year players. It was a major deal on PM with many people saying that's what brought us down. I think he didn't mean that he'd take no transfers, but it's what everyone there made it sound like. I would love to bring in only freshman and let them grow, but I think he's realizing that that isn't the way of current D1 basketball and is adapting.

I just want him to bring in players that will help us win. Transfer or freshman.

I agree. Of course, it was not what anyone was saying last year at this time.

I just think he feels he better win more games next year.

Had this year been better, I think he'd stick (more) firm to the HS kid mantra.

Norm brought in a boatload of transfers. We just didn't like Haith. I include myself in the "we" there.

I shouldn't say "just." He didn't recruit teams, just players.

JUCO players would really balance the roster, I see what KA is getting at. If we assume Bello and one freshman transfers, and we took 2 JUCOs that would give us 1 senior, 4 juniors, 4 sophomores, and 4 freshman. That team would have the experience and talent to win some games, if not it would be crazy disappointing.

Duke's student section just started chanting 5-star recruit Jayson Tatum's name, waving to him. He joins the fans for the rest of the game.

I think we're in as good a shape with Tatum as we will ever be.

Cusumano just interviewed the JUCO coach for Payne and Woods. Sounds like Mizzou might be in a good position with the former SEMO commit Payne. Has a KSU offer already per coach and has been fielding a lot of calls from Tennessee as of late. Will visit Mizzou after season.

Mulder's coach told PM he'll definitely visit Mizzou, Creighton, and Wichita State and that coaches from Indiana and Louisville have been visiting a lot lately and could offer.

Gabe said he's heard a rumor Mizzou is recruiting Torren Jones again from JUCO. He said he hasn't confirmed that yet but others had posted saying they had been told the same thing. Has that ever happened before? A kid getting kicked off of a team and then coming back out of JUCO? Apparently Torren is tearing it up at JUCO averaging 18 and 11

How in the hell does that make any sense. If true, it tells me we truly are rudderless. Either the guy's actions warranted him no longer being associated with the University or they weren't that bad and KA just overreached.

Levi Cook tore his ACL and will no longer visit Mizzou. Since he already had weight problems, and now the ACL, he will take a while to recover and get into playing shape and we can't afford to wait. Sounds like it's down to Bryant or random JUCO kids for our big guy needs next season.

Another unrated JUCO offer Charles Foster. It's pretty discouraging the number of JUCO's we're offering lately.
