Latest 247 prediction from Barton Simmons a shocker - LF to Bama

I am as surprised as anyone with this new turn of events. Barton is extremely reliable (he has never had a Bama crystal ball projection and that person ended up committing to another team).
I would have thought LF would be a in-state lock, especially with LSU taking no backs last year. The only thing Bama can sell him on (besides recent draft success at the position with two first rounders and one second) is that he should worry about miles on his legs if he goes to a program that doesn't have other good backs.
This thing may go down to the wire for both programs!!
Good luck to my tiger brothers and sisters. Should be a fun ride and I will enjoy seeing him play wherever he ends up.

Simmons is solid. He does take a little leap with his Crystal Ball predictions though. He has Adoree Jackson pegged to UF, which is very possible, but most would consider it a longshot.

I like Barton a lot but some times he makes picks like this hoping they pan out. Not reaches by any means but just a shot at looking good in the end.
The Adoree Jackson prediction is actually a good one. He is trending more and more towards FSU and UF. The USC lock stuff is/was way overblown.
Fournette is going to LSU. We know it, Bama knows it and most recruiting people know it. It just so happens that taking Bama when it comes to a recruit they covet , when making a prediction is not a bad idea at all. They win a lot of those battles

They'be had the crystal ball for a couple months now. How impressive can his record be? They change their picks all the time, right before the commitment articl is written sometimes.

Any team like bama, LSU, Florida, teams that are always competing for championships are always threats. Im just saying he'll be at LSU
