Wow, I like Missy State and the points here, folks. Give me the 14.

OSU by 10. I just don't see how State is going to slow them down after they lost their secondary and an all SEC-linebacker. Defensive line will need to be on their A game.

This game is hard for me to figure out. I think MSU should win, but OSU will likely be a better team this year than last, and they were decent.

Spread seems high to me though, regardless of who wins.

Lock the Opening weekend is by far NW @ Cal +10.5. Give me Cali athletes, a Sonny Dykes offense, a home crowd, and 10.5 points vs. Northwestern. They are good but they have trouble covering big spreads as the favorite.

Thank me later for the Cal/NW game guise.

Would be my guess. Okie Light returns everyone on O except a couple of O-line guys, they'll be pretty solid. I think they return 7 on D too, not that that means a lot.

I think Tyler Russell and Perkins can move the ball against an OSU defense replacing a good DC. Not to mention, OSU lost their OC as well to USM.

I can see OSU being favored, but -14 seems pretty high.

Doubt it. Not the first game of the season. Both teams have all off season to prepare for the opener and it normally takes offenses a little while to get going.
MSU has talent on the DL to cause some problems for OSU.

State should be able to run the ball, but they're going to have to depend on that. It's definitely going to be tough for their young and inexperienced secondary against OK STATE's passing game, and I think that's the key reason that OK STATE will win.

MSU was pretty much smoke and mirrors last year. They lost to every team with a pulse. They won 4 SEC games - vs UT, UK, Ark, Aub. They lost and were mostly throttled ATS down the stretch when they faced real teams. I do not believe MSU will be better this year.

OSU meanwhile is a favorite to win the Big 12. They have a lot of talent returning and were pretty solid last year. Their coach is a total count, but think they win and win easily.

I see it as one of two possibilities:

1) We win a really close one
or
2) We get blown out 20 +

Agree 100%.

Ill also say that 14 points is alot in an opener.

However, itll almost be a home game for OSU and if the Cowboys make some big plays early, State could get blown out

I want Miss State to win but I just don't see them competing with Okie Light for a full game.

I imagine the score will be something like 49-31 in favor of the Pokes.
