Our league is way strong enough already. We have been in the BCSNC game almost every year and we have a built-in SOS that is unmatched.

I believe adding another SEC game to each of our schedules will just be another week of giving losses to each other. It can ONLY hurt our championship chances imo. We dont need another conference game.

Anyone else agree?

You realize that is the reason the rest of the country is pressuring us to do this.

Totally agree. These other conferences need to do it because no one wants to watch them play d2 tomato cans. I kind of enjoy going to my gamecocks playing south western directional u. Kind of a relaxing gameday experience without all the hatred and vomiting.

no, the rest of the pansy arse fans ,that are scared to play real football games, don't want to play nine games either. they'd rather play Louisiana Lafayette than play someone like Missouri or Georgia.

People want the SEC to add a 9th conference game because they think it will make it more difficult for an SEC team to make it through the conference unscathed

A stupid meat-head mentality.

All of our schedules are hard as hell every year. Harder than any other teams in any other conferences. We dont need to internally combust.

This whole debate has come about for one reason and one reason only...the SEC got greedy and expanded to 14. And there continues to be talk of further expansion. No one gave a shite about the SEC playing only 8 games when we were only a 12 team conference.

I'd love to have a ninth conference game and start playing AU annually again (along with LSU).

I like 8 and getting 2 more BCS schools OOC every year. I wish everyone could go 6-0-2 except for Bama/Tenn and Auburn/Georgia.

Yeah, I don't see a reason to add another automatic 7 losses to the SEC collectively in a season.

Jealous, butthurt, wannabe left-behinds want to stop the SEC's championship winning streak. frick them. The SEC is in control. If they don't like it, they can stop getting blown out in the NC game, al a Notre (Fake) Dame.

Laissez bons temps rouler, man.

Good point...table the 9th game discussion until Notre Dame gets in a conference, and not before.

I'd rather not go to 9 simply because it limits your scheduling. I'd like instead to just implement the following rules:

1. No FCS game
2. Every school must play 1 OOC game annually vs B1G/PAC/Big12/ACC

Do those two things and the schedules immediately become more interesting without limiting the schools already locked into OOC rivalry games

And until all conferences have a conference championship game (unless they all do already...)
