We have 3 recruits in this years recruiting class that will most likely go pro to the MLB instead of going to college.

HS Recruits:

C - Nick Ciuffo - Best player in the State in SC earned Gatorade POY honors for the State of SC, projected to go in between 15-25 overall in the 1st round.

RHP/3B - Travis Demeritte - Projected to go anywhere from Late 1st Round to Early 2nd Round, can either be drafted as a pitcher or 3B b/c he's that good of an athlete

RHP/SS - Cory Thompson - Most likely a 4-6th round pick, some teams like him as a pitcher, others as a SS, it will probably depend on the team that picks him up whether he'll be drafted as a Pitcher or SS straight out of HS.

Players:

LB Dantzler - Potential 15-20th round pick, some teams like his bat & pop but he just doesn't have a position at the MLB level

Tyler Webb - Most likely a 6-10th round pick, definitely paid off not getting drafted but will suffer by not having nearly as big as a signing bonus

Rest of the guys eligible will either be a FA or return to SC.

So with that said, who do you guys think recruits & guys on the team right now will get drafted this week?

Eades, Jones, Ross will all get drafted and sign. Ibarra may get drafted, but said he intends to return to LSU. Seniors Katz, Rhymes, and Cotton could get drafted, but I wouldn't expect it to be too high. Nick Rumbelow and Cody Glenn are also possibilities, maybe Joey Bourgeois. Nick Lamarche will probably get drafted.

Recruit Justin Williams will never step foot on LSUs campus. Nick Longhi is a possibility to go pro. David Palladino is a 6'9" JC righty that could go. Jake Fraley and Jarrett DeHart are OFs from the northeast that could be drafted and paid well enough to go. Don't know as much about our HS arms.

I probably forgot some people.

We're going to lose:

RF'er Hunter Renfroe to the 1st round
SS Adam Frazier to the 3rd-5th round most likely

Recruit:

OF Cord Sandberg- Supplemental or 2nd round

We'll have some others drafted, but shouldnt lose anyone else that matters
