Soccer fans in general are cray. I guess they figure they have to find something to do in the hour and a half between meaningful events during the game.

Their fans are just on an entire different level from ours. They throw road flares and have mass riots. It's insane

I can't link you because I'm at work, but check out "The Real Football Factories: International" on youtube. The Serbs took the cake as the scariest, with the Pols a close second. Never saw the Greek one though.

I'll look it up. The poorer countries with the lower profile leagues are the most ridiculous from what I've read, like Serbia, Poland, Turkey

The craziness of the former Yukoslavia is to be expected given their recent history. Seems like the more east you go in general, the crazier they get. Hell in Russia, they have women's ultras. Most of the ultra groups in that part of the world seem to function like gangs.

Um, I've witnessed some LSU hooliganism in the past. In 2001 glass bottles were thrown at the AU Marching Band Buses as they neared Tiger Stadium. The previous year, a fight between some members of the AU Drumline and some LSU fans began when the fans poured red wine on some band members.

Scotland, at least with the Old Firm Rivalry (Glasgow's two biggest clubs--Rangers/Celtic), is on a similar level.
