I had not heard that at all, surprising to me. Not that CM couldn't be a good OG, I just thought he was pretty much universally regarded as a DL.

Mosley won't go to Bama if they plan on putting him at guard and he's well aware of that fact when signing the LOI.

This kid will be a 4* by tomorrow.

He must've balled out at camp I guess.

If true then only explanation would be a life long Bama fan since I've seen him state multiple times he really wants to play on the d-line.

I was just thinking the same thing. He is only 275 which is about the right size coming out of HS to be a early contributor at DE in a 3-4. As long as he doesn't put on more than about 35-40 pounds, he is still definite DE material as far as size. Would just depend on strength and quickness, and I haven't seen him yet so I can't speak to those.

He's listed ~300 pounds a few places but he just looks and moves more like a DE than a NT on his film IMO: Highlights

The 2nd half of the video is more entertaining than the 1st half. Have him at RB on a play and returning a kick

He wants to play inside because it's more physical and he likes that, but I think he'll discover 5 tech isn't a walk in the park. Still a great mindset to have for a lineman.

Hope he and OJ Smith get their grades in order, or else Bama is gonna have some monsters out of JuCo...

It's great that he has that mindset but he just doesn't have the big lower body and wide frame I expect to see in a NT

Maybe Paige, Smith, and Dwight can all be roommates in JUCO

Yeah, right after I posted that, I was told he weighed in at Bama at 295 in camp. He is pretty quick and penetrates well. I'd have to say he probably is DE.

So if he is DE and Moseley is going to end up OG, who you taking at NT? Elam and ...? Or just one guy?

Yes, he is the processed athlete to be named later.

I better add I am kidding around. I know nothing about him.

Oh I don't think he'll be a NG, outside of possibly a passing situation.

It could be a 5-6 person DL class this cycle; 2 NGs, 3 DE, and 1 jumbo athlete in someone like Mosley(they like him at OG, but Saban told him he could play NG for him today).

We have a commitment from OJ Smith who projects at NT. Not sure what will happen with Elam and Mosely

Johnny Dwight is a 34 DE, without a doubt. How he is a 3 star is beyond me. Long lean athlete, perfect 34 end.... Saban told Mosely he would play NG for him. Elam showed out also some say, but he came to bama's camp at 370 lbs. I think we pass on him... Watch for a kid out of FL by the name of Mcbride, bama offered without him even going to came.. A monster from plant city...
