This makes me go
If you made it to the Dude this weekend you know how much that place was rockin and SS is pumped up about making it better.
As my momma would say, "I could just hug his neck."

I feel like I am actually listening to OOB with Scott Stricklin as guest.

What are his plans?
Expansion of premium seating, restroom upgrades, improved aesthetics, better amenities.
Thanks for being civilized in your question unlike some of the others around here.
Hey Slope,

I'm pissed I had to miss the weekend games for a wedding. But last night was awesome. So I can only imagine Saturday.
Gotta give it to y'all. State does baseball right.
Hey Req I was a bit intoxicated at the Bin.

Nothing to link unless you want to go to the Out of Bounds website and see if you can find a replay of today's show. He spoke about the atmosphere this weekend and how DNF was the field that started it all back in the 80's. He said we kinda got lax with it and have let other programs pass us by so it is time to step up and make some improvements.

Did he give any sort of timeline?

No, I couldn't listen to the whole segment but from what I gathered he was just throwing it out there that they are in the early stages of planning.

For the outfield, just do some dirt work and make tiers for the loungers. Make it a triple wide and put a modest limit on the height of the first 2 rows of contraptions. Have row 3 for corporate tailgate tents and charge them big bucks for the privilege of having one of those slots.
We are famous for LFL. Let's amp that up to a level that will never, ever be touched.

I like the tier thing I guess. The only thing I hated about LFL was the light pole in between the sae and kappa sig trailers. frick that pole.

I'm torn, the fascist in me says make every tier have uniform design and construction in order to maximize the space, but that goes against alot of what LFL stands for.
but for instance, one trailer was late at dudy gras and got out of their original spot, it blocked the trailer I frequents view of center field because that trailer is taller and has side walls. These trailers were build for their own individual spots but if the design was uniform we wouldn't have this problem?

They wouldn't have to be uniform. They would just have to meet some guidelines for things to work.
...and put in a pool in deep center. Beer, baseball, and babes in bikinis. Could it get better than that?

I second the motion.

In regards to this I'd say they school should leave the contraptions alone and let the individuals worry about the designs. What the school could do is, like someone else pointed out earlier, dirt work in order to get the most out of the space behind the fence.

That would be such a mess. They would have to make it a kiddie pool only or just make it so you can rent it out like Chase Field.

I am thinking more about height guidelines. The tiers wouldn't work if someone blocks everything behind you. You want a big arse contraption? Move to the back row.
