Facing Illinois in match-play for the championship.

We appear to be doing well, but it's still early.

Remember it came down to the last hole against Texas last year. Maybe that experience will help us this year.

through 7-10 holes we are up 2-1 and tied in the other two. The 2 that we are up in we have good leads including one with 6 strokes. The one we are down in we are only down by 1

Wyatt up 5 and Whitsett up 4. Just need those 2 to close out and 1 of the other 3 to win

If we won 2 and finish all square in the rest, would we still win? Or is there a rule that you have to win 3 of them?

They can't finish AS. They play extra holes.

Sudden death match play seems kind of stupid. Although I guess at that point it's really more like sudden death stroke play since you'd just need to win one hole. Still, I don't like the idea of forcing anyone to play a 19th hole of match play after getting through 18 all square in a team event. They should just score it like the Ryder Cup and if both teams win 2 and the 5th match finishes all square, come up with a playoff format.

Mullinax has five feet to win 16

Chase Goodbread ?@ChaseGoodbread now
Whitsett tee shot at par 3 #13 just stopped about 18 inches from the cup. Gimme for him
