Good for Liberty and coach Toman.

But honestly, I was hoping they'd win so (given that we beat St. Louis) we could beat them. Though, if we beat St. Louis and Clemson beats them in the loser's bracket, we could send Clemson home if they beat Liberty.

Bottom line is, I want us to be the ones to send them home packing.

I'd be lying if I said that this didn't make me really happy. Not only did they lose, but they lost to a former USC Coached team. Well done Toman! I'm sure he explained to the Liberty players that on that field, clemson DOES NOT win games at all costs.

So... do we start all freshman and practice our bunting and base stealing to guarantee a shot to knock them out tomorrow, or win today and hope they get lucky against St. Louis? It cheapens it if we don't get to knock them out... it's been our good luck charm the last three years...

Rule #1 is win Game 1.

We've knocked them out 2 of the past 3 years, but I would rather just win all the games this region and if they advance, past the elimination, that's cool.

Me too ... and it might actually happen. I thought USL was a better looking team than was Clemson yesterday.

so clemtech survived and has to play tomorrow in another elimination game. Their bats really woke up, but St Louis already pitched their best guy against us.

I would have enjoyed knocking them out, but I'm glad Liberty and Toman will be able to say they did. That will be a good moral victory in this regional for them. (Knock on Wood, of course.)

I just got banned from Tigernet.

Asked if Clemson baseball was the biggest disappointment this year and that I don't remember seeing them this bad.

Clemson is on meltdown. They are Back on the Fire Leggett wagon. They are the most bi-polar fan base in the country. They lose a game, "FIRE LAGGET," They win a game, "Laggett has the team playing great."

If I was Leggett, I wouldn't want to coach a team for such an erratic fan base. Winning their approval is like herding monkeys.

Also, let me know if you want anything posted over there, as I believe my screen name is still active. I was hoping I wouldn't have to get another one before the season, but today is a good day.
