It's pretty clear, that the NCAA selection cmtte. ONLY considers RPI, so why even discuss, let alone publish any other polls. Shouldn't they just come out and SAY so ? SOOOO stupid to not fully disclose selection criteria !

So you're saying you don't care about other people's opinions on what the best teams are? That's fine, but how about YOU just don't read them? I've never understood the mindset of, "We shouldn't have polls..."

Hey pal ...this site IS all about opinions/conversation...how about you not take things soooo literal ?
What I'm getting at is...a little more transparency from the selection cmtte./THEN we may all be able to comprehend all the love the ACC gets EACH year...while having last won the CWS, when ?

I understand why we didn't get a host spot this year, but its kind of bad how much the committee focuses on RPI.

That beings said, how in the world did LSU not get in a couple years ago? Didn't y'all have an RPI of 21?

26 is what I remember. I believe it was St. John's who got in (along with Mississippi State). St. John's went on a run and won a region I think.

LSU won only 13 SEC games that year but they had a great OOC series win over Fullerton I think.

There are head scratchers every year. How did aTm get a 2 seed this year? Questionable....

You probably still are questioning Mississippi State hosting.

Answerable also, their AD was on the committee.

And the committee screwed a bunch of shite up.

The year that LSU got hosed, I'm pretty sure Larry Templeton was head of the committee, so frick him, and frick State.
