To the parks other leagues are playing their tourneys in this week. Can we please at least consider moving the tourney to a ballpark that at least measures up to the stadiums our teams play in during the regular season? I know I know, this means you might have a situation where alabama or auburn don't have a home field advantage but its a small sacrifice.

The stadium in Durham that the ACC is playing at looks really nice.

Atlanta (Gwinnett Braves)
New Orleans (Zephyrs)
Memphis (forgot what minor league team is here)
All would be better.

Sorry guys, unlike basketball and football, sec baseball isn't relevant enough to move. Not enough people give a frick about it.

It'll be moved in the next few years I'd go to bet as well. Hoover is a dump.

So if Bama sucks at the sport it is irrelevant. Got it.

I've noticed that the only fanbase that is outspoken about their apathy toward baseball is Alabama. They also seem to project those feelings onto every other fanbase without regard to accuracy.

Then move the tournament to Arkansas, Louisiana, or S. Carolina where the local fans give a shite about baseball and will turnout in support.

If it rotated among NOLA, Memphis, Atlanta, Little Rock, and Bham I know Hog fans would turn out in droves the years it would be in LR

I still haven't decided if I'm for a rotation. But they really need to get it out of that stadium. There is no regular maintenance going on and it shows. It needs to be played in a park that has a current occupant. The Hoover Met is being allowed to fall into disrepair for 51 weeks and then gets held together with pipe cleaners and duct tape while the cameras are on.

Durham Bulls stadium is really nice, I went to a game a few summers ago. It makes the met look like a dump.
My vote is Memphis red birds. That stadium is in a great spot and is one of the best minor league parks in the region.

Good Lord. It's pretty much the exact opposite.

Trustmark is great but it's too small IMO. State and OM set the stadium record earlier this year with like 8400.
I think Autozone's capacity is around 14,000 and would be fricking perfect.
Would be as close or closer for Mizzou, aTm, Ark, Vandy, OM, State, LSU, and UT. Yea I know it would be a further trip for a few teams like USC and UF but no further than Hoover currently for some of the more western teams.
