Why not let SEC rival schools schedule each other as non-conference games?

Why not let SEC schools who are bent on keeping cross divisional rivalries an annual event, play them as non-conference games?
They would get to continue their tradition, continue bragging rights, compete for recruiting, and generate more income and interest than playing a near Division 2 school, or they can choose to drop it.
Then we could keep a schedule that rotates fairly.

Bc they want to keep their rivalry AND their easy schedule. They won't give up one for the other.

And who decides which are in conference and which are OOC?

b/c Slive lives in a bama neighborhood.
you never know who is screwin' whom.

Because its not about the rivalries, its about keeping bama's schedule light.

simple. the conference would set up a rotation and that would be the conference schedule. if bama and tennessee game isn't set up by the conference, then they could schedule the game on their own and it would not impact conference records, only their total records.

The conference chooses. Uh, no thanks. Seen that movie, hoss.

This is actually one of the more creative solutions I've seen to this silliness.

Agree. Slive would spin a flaw though... Or just ignore it all together.

Disagree. You play an SEC opponent, you play for keeps.

The standard sec schedule would apply, with each year rotating the cross divisional match ups.

Why do you say that?

Why don't LSU fans quit complaining?

If that wish was granted, then every permanent cross-division game would be played except LSU-UF and maybe USC-Arky (or USC-A&M). I'm ok with stopping those two
