Is there a streakier rivalry in the history of college football? It's like they are locked into some sort of symbiotic agreement or something. And will UT ever have another winning streak against Bama? Ever?

Because both schools are so powerful that any weakness in either results in a streak of wins or losses until the losing school fixes its problems.

Which game is bigger for the UT fan base, Vandy or UK?

I think this is actually it. Historically, both programs have been very, very good. So when one team goes through even a slight downturn, it results in a lengthy streak by the other.

So you, both of you, are basically saying that the series is unforgiving to the program that may be suffering through a downswing at the time?

A quick perusal of the mid 80s through early 90s would suggest otherwise. Bama won seven in a row against some pretty good UT teams when, perhaps, Bama was not at their best.

Conversely, Bama lost a ton of games against UT in the 50s when, perhaps, UT was not at their best. Especially 55-59.

You don't understand how vacated wins work.

It's officially not a win for Alabama but it sill is an official loss for Tennessee.

Which is part of the reason the whole vacating thing is so stupid.

Actually you don't understand. This is our record for that year. If the bama game was a loss we would be 5-7.

It still counts as a loss for you.

Go look at the records Alabama had between 55-57.
