Interesting. If true, why is he viewed as a good coach?

Because Mississippi St has a sub .500 record all-time.

Did you see where they came from? Comparatively, he's a fricking GOD.

It is correct. 2012 was his best SEC West finish and it was 4th.
I think he is a solid coach. Not as great as MSU fans thought he was in 2010, not as bad as rivals thought he was after the end of this year.

The vast majority of football teams in the nation would finish (or would be lucky to finish) 4th in the SEC West.

one of these teams has only been here one season.

For the same reason if a Kentucky Football Coach takes you to bowl games 75% of the time.

correct, you can just replace it with Arkansas, who was pretty damn good in that stretch.

The SECr only operates in one season increments. Did you not know this?

Three straight bowl games at a program that had one winning season and one bowl game in the previous 10 years before he arrived.
Mississippi State isnt an easy place to win at.

May I add the year that we finished 4th, we were 9-4 and ended the season ranked 17th in the nation after beating Michigan in the Gator Bowl.
Alabama and Arkansas went to BCS games that year and LSU finished 3rd and won 11 games.

Why would you do that...the statement is incorrect.
