LSU fans: Does it bother you that ESPN's SEC voice will be from Birmingham?

Finebaum was born in Memphis and went to Tennessee, but has ran his Alabama/Auburn based show out of Birmingham for the last 33 years. He has constantly bashed Les Miles for the last 5 years and considers him to be a total fool who is merely coasting on the immense talent available to him with a program Saban built.

Here are a few examples:
quote:

.....easily the dumbest and most inept coaching performance (from someone not named Mike Shula) I've ever seen in the SEC. Even Miles' dog would probably admit that his master makes Bozo the Clown look intelligent.

LINK

quote:

Now, everyone in Baton Rouge with a working brain has come to the same conclusion: Miles' first three years were due in large part to what Saban built and left behind. With Saban recruits, Miles went 34-6 with three straight top-5 final appearances in the polls.

LINK

Finebaum will now have the biggest bully pulpit in the world to express his views. He will be the go-to sports personality on ESPN when any SEC team is discussed. Put simply, he is now the voice of the SEC to the nation. How does this make you feel?

Even Finebaum gets it right some of the time.

No, not at all.

I actually found his brand of humor quite entertaining....I think for the most part he's been very fair with LSU over the last few years....

I'm not trying to start a debate on Saban v. Miles. That topic has been worn out enough. I'm simply asking if it worries you that ESPN's lead SEC commentator will have such an open and obvious Alabama bias and hatred toward Les Miles.

Respected enough that he is signing a multi million dollar contract to be the lead SEC contributor on ESPN and essentially be the face of the new SEC Network.

Yes, we all know that ESPN gives out pay checks based on respect.

Ohhh. At first I thought you were asking the rest of the SEC in general about what they thought. I didn't know you were specifically asking LSU fans how they felt about a man liking Alabama and hating LSU and how him becoming an ESPN pundit would make LSU fans specifically feel on the SEC rant.

Sorry A&M & Vols fans. Nothing to see here. Move on.
