Can A&M get in a regional if they complete sweep of Tenn?

I think the Aggies have to at least make the final of the SEC Tourney to have a chance. But even with that a regional is highly unlikely. A&M will have to win the SECT. That is also highly unlikely.
ETA: If A&M had finished over .500 in SEC play, their chances would have been much better.

Damn - I was hoping the sweep put us in the neighborhood of win 1 or 2 in sec t . Well always next year. Luckily I am an LSU fan too.

I think a win today and 2 in Hoover. That moves the RPI to top 40 and the win total to 33 AND ABOUT A 1/3 of them vs the top 50.

I read today that A&M can be as high as the 7 seed for the SECT depending on how all the games shake out today. Right now we are the 9-seed.
I guess the bottom 8 play a single-elimination play in game and the winners advance to an 8-team double elimination tournament. We will likely play LSU or Vandy in the opening round of the double elimination tourney if we win.
Do you think going 2-2 would be enough?

With a 9th place finish and a loss on Sat vs UT leaves A&M likely needing 4 wins including at least 1 vs Vandy or LSU if not 2.

34 wins with 12 vs the top 50 is enough to make the tourney. SOS in the top 20.
