Let's face it: the last couple years have sucked. What would change that? I would like the last one to go out with a bang.

Oregon vs A&M: what can I say? I am a ducks fan. There would be Manziel vs Mariota, Oregon's secondary vs the A&M WRs, the Oregon DL vs the A&M offensive line, plenty of skill players, tempo, etc. Oh, yeah, it would be competitive. **EDITED: only downside is any A&M flip to Oregon would have to go into serious hiding if we won that game**

Stanford vs Alabama: Stanford wants to be Alabama in the West. Now is the time. Stanford has the defense to make this close but ultimately the BAMA defense would shut the offense down cold and win by 10.

Florida vs tOSU: there is a lot trash talk coming from Columbus, OH and I would rank this as the #1 matchup if I didn't believe tOSU is a year away from being talented enough to compete and Florida didn't have the question marks on offense. Urban vs. his old team would be a great storyline.

In a nutshell, it's GONNA SUCK AGAIN.

Georgia vs Stanford would be appealing. Stanford has several players from Georgia.

I wish we had offered Chase Thomas. Not surprised he did so well over there.

A little off topic (although he is Stanford kid from Georgia) but why no offer to Taboada? Oregon really chased that kid as well.

Would be a great game. Would be awesome to see Clowney,Quarles, and Sutton chase Mariota all game. Not to mention seeing Spurrier throw the entire playbook at yall.

Jordan Davis committed to UGA over the summer last year, so I guess we just didn't pursue any more at the position.

eta: Also, forgot to add that Jeb Blazevich (top 5 TE from Charlotte) is committed to UGA for the class of 2014.

Trust me on this one and don't let me come back and say I told you so. I actually think BAMA vs Stanford is the most likely matchup. Oregon isn't beating Stanford this year and I don't see them losing. BAMA has to hold up their end of the bargain.

Stanford has the best safety tandem, a lockdown physical corner, depth in the secondary and the most experienced front seven in CFB. Oh, yeah, they stout.

The Stanford team that could only put up 13 on Notre Dame (granted they might have got shafted in OT)? The same vaunted Notre Dame defense that held USCw and Oklahoma each to only 13 points. That vaunted Notre Dame defense lead by star LB and Heisman Finalist Manti Te'o.

Yeah, that vaunted defense got rocked by Alabama to the tune of 42 points and it could have been worse had the game not been over at halftime.

I'll believe it when I see it. "Stout" defense out west is average defense here in the SEC.
