Then went to the NFL and then came back to the SEC at LSU. How would Bama fans feel about that move?
This is not a flame, I am really just curious to how ya'll would feel? This is kind of a spin off thread to the.....If you have to pull for another SEC school.

No, granted most of us are too young to have a great memory of him. I was just starting school when he died so I don't have much memory of him. That said, if he wanted back in college and Alabama wasn't available he can go to any school he chooses including TN and Auburn.

OP, ask Kentucky fans they would have a similar situation, but I highly doubt they had this major red arse LSU fans about Saban.
And no AssToMouth isn't the NFL but Coach Bryant did coach somewhere else between UK and UA.

I don't buy that. The Bama fanbase went apeshit when Franchione left for TAMU. Granted, there wasn't the internet aspect back then.

I would have been very disappointed and resentful. The LSU fanbase is like any other in that there are reasonable folks and unreasonable...but the unique thing about LSU is a large number of LSU fans are just batshit crazy (frankly, that's why I'm fond of LSU).
I'd have been pissed and I would never have liked LSU, just as most LSU fans feel now in the reverse.
