Bama Tennis, headed to the 'ship

Alabama Football, Gymnastics, Softball and Golf all took years to build and all have reached the top of the mountain now. Of all the other programs, (Basketball and Baseball seem to be in a rut, but I'm hopeful) Tennis seems to be emerging into a contender in the future.

Right now, the Tide, under the helm of a 16 year coach have finally conquered their regional for the first time and are headed to the 16 team National Championships in Illinois (they came oh so close in 2012 but progress is progress). No one is really predicting Alabama to win it all and hopefully we can make some noise, but I like where this team is headed.

So good luck to those ladies and trail they are blazing for future athletes in the program... and hey, kick some arse and take some names while you're there!!

This is the first time we've been to the round of 16 and she's been the coach for 16 years? How has she lasted this long?

Basketball will at least be a consistent 20-25 win team under Grant, but there's so much potential for more.

Baseball made a big step this year and more is expected next year. The updated, modern facility is going to help an already great recruiter. He just needs to develop better.
