While the 6-foot-5, 250-pound star recently gave positive reviews of Auburn after taking a trip there with his head coach, former Auburn star Karibi Dede, the Tigers did not impress the five-star pass rusher enough to move into his top five.

"It was fun, it was good, but you know," Hand told 247Sports. "I'm not really putting them in the hunt or anything." Hand told 247Sports that each school in his top five has its own unique appeal to him.

"All have their little pieces," Hand said. "At Auburn, I went to a construction site. At South Carolina, it was the linemen, at Michigan it was the sports marketing and at Alabama, it was Alabama. It's Alabama."

In the end he plays outside he SEC IMO, but this made me chuckle

You're quite welcome. I wonder if the construction site was metaphorical or literal. Something to ponder

It's literal. As a Bama fan, you should know the ins and outs of Auburn at all times.

It is the McMansion Dorms we are building next to the football complex.. You have to have 50% +1 non-athlete to make it work...

When they are finished, they will be very impressive.

He's not a Va Tech lock, he's a lean at this moment.

He ends-up in the SEC when all is said and done.

Bama or SC, whichever recruiters do the best job.

I like that we have Deke Adams on him, with Spurrier heavily involved and Clowney and him texting regularly.

Bama's got who on him, Lance Thompson I think right, with Saban in contact with him regularly as well.

Florida is gonna send Brad Lawing in on him I guess, because Lawing was in touch with him while at SC.

Michigan has Greg Mattison on him, and Mattison has proven that he can recruit, but that old Whiskey white man cannot connect to Hand imho and Hand, if he leaves Virginia, he's coming South, not North. Besides, he'll see that clip of what Clowney did to Michigan and it'll be a subconscious thing in his head that causes him to eliminate Michigan in the end.

If he leaves Virginia, and I personally believe he will, then it's either SC or Bama. Clowney is our trump card, tradition and National Championships are Bama's. Saban and Spurrier cancel each other out.
