You know, I don't look at it as a kid throwing his life away (though that's probably what it is).... instead, I think of the kid whose going to get what would have been his scholarship, he's one lucky s.o.b.

Don't really understand why he feels he can't do both.
He p much sucks though and someone needs to slap some sense into him. Chasing your dreams is all fine and good but to pass up the opportunity to get a free education and maybe even go to the NFL is just plain idiotic.
