He is currently at Brookwood in very bad condition. Please send a prayer for his comfort and recovery.

Beasley was like Steve Largent. He made Pat Sullivan. Definitely a legend for you guys.
Prayers sent.

Sending good vibes...I remember him well back in the 1969-71 era of Pat Sullivan....we had John Reaves and Carlos Alvarez as a combo back then, but Ray Graves retired as HC and became AD and we hired Doug Dickey who wanted to run a veer offense and it was like a square peg in round hole in 1970-71...plus Carlos suffered bad injury.
I remember AU putting 60 on us back then...whew those were tough to take. Shug Jordan and Vince Dooley were hard to meet back to back every year.

Didn't he talk on WJOX, or one of the Birmingham radio stations, from time to time?

Terry Beasley. Dude had like 20 concussions which has always been part of his health issue. Here he is after being knocked out and just being dragged off the field - 1970. Boy times have changed.
