I didn't know this and sorry if it's been posted before but the AFCA presented 4 replica Coaches Trophies to Governor Bentley last month in recognition of the state’s four straight BCS national championships. Pretty cool.

The replica trophies will be placed in Governor Bentley’s office, where they will be put on display. A lifelong Alabama fan, Governor Bentley was very pleased to accept this gift from the AFCA in recognition of the state’s accomplishment.
“I am honored, and I appreciate this,” said Governor Bentley when he was presented with the trophies from Grant Teaff. “I’m glad that Auburn had one championship also. If Alabama couldn’t win it in 2010, I’m glad Auburn won it that year.”

He's got to appease that 25% of the voters.

When you upset them, that 25% will gangrape you in the elections. Ask Bill Baxley

Political officials should have seen this coming when they let a separate university house such vital resources like agricultural and veterinary schools.
