Michael Williams has also signed his contract but it doesn't list the details. LINK

Jeremy Shelley signed with the Falcons recently, and Kelly Johnson is with the Rams on a tryout basis at rookie camp.
Ron Rivera, Panthers' HC, complimented Robert Lester out of the rookies.
Nothing I can find on Tinker or Square...

Eddie Lacy, Green Bay indoor practice facility.
Wonder if Lacy is aware that the indoor facility is named after a famous Alabama player?

You know, Dee is gonna get scrutinized for some stupid shite, but I think he'll have an excellent rookie year, may play close to Cromartie's level, well as close as a rookie can anyway.
But remember Dre played sparingly last season, but he didn't get a chance to do much.
Who do you think has a better year, Dre or Dee? I'm thinking Dee plays better.

Unless he decides to change his name to "Geno Smith", he's gonna avoid much scrutiny.
Cromartie is a top 5 CB, I don't think that's realistic for any rookie to come close to. He just has to avoid being anything less than average to be effective. The defense will take care of the rest if the pass rush comes to fruition.

I think Lacey is going wreck shite in Green bay. That's a great team for him to be drafted to and I expect him to have a stellar rookie season.
What another great recruiting angle, TRich going beast mode in Cleveland, hopefully Ingram has a breakout year and then Lacey going off for GB. Damn

Imagine if all of them scored 10 TDs, Richardson goes well over 1300 yards, and Ingram and Lacy both have good seasons, and THEN Yeldon is invited to New York for the Heisman presentation.

Which is why I posted:
No rookie CB is gonna be in the same stratosphere as a top 5 CB.
"As close as" could be top 50 out of 64 CBs, it's vague...

"Those two guys really showed well today," Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said. "I really like what Robert Lester did, and I really liked Melvin White. He's another guy that we felt had a chance to get drafted."
Many draft analysts expected Lester, a three-time national champion at Alabama, to hear his name called during the draft, but it didn't happen. The Panthers pounced, and Lester made a good first impression Friday.
"I was disappointed that I wasn't drafted, but that just puts a chip on my shoulder to play even harder and prove that I can play," Lester said. "This is a top-10 defense. I paid attention to them this year. I realized that they do need help in the secondary, and I'm more than willing to come in and help and try to contribute."
The Panthers finished 10th in the NFL in total defense last year but were tied for 23rd with just 13 interceptions. Lester accounted for eight interceptions as a sophomore, then just two as a junior. But that tied for second on the 2011 team, as did his four interceptions last season as Alabama led the nation in total defense and scoring defense for the second consecutive season.
"If you were to watch film from 2011, I don't think one team threw the ball deep on us. Everything was short," Lester said. "That's what you want. You want to take a part of the field away from them. If they feel they can't throw deep, that's a good game plan.
"I know the Panthers want more interceptions. At Alabama, we really put an emphasis on creating turnovers and being a quarterback's nightmare. We can have that same identity here."

Is Carolina looking for a new starting Safety? I think Lester makes the team, but for obvious reasons I don't know if any of us expect him to start or play a whole lot as a rookie. It'd be nice if he become one of those "I don't have the physical tools, but my intangibles make me a solid player" type guys.

It wouldnt surprise me at all. I predicted him to be a solid pro before the draft. He is very underrated, IMO. You don't get 14 INTs(8 in his first year as a starter) in the SEC by just getting the start. Dude's a player.

Yeah I know. But is Carolina even looking for new starters on the back end?
And I'm sure I'm stating the obvious, but I like how when other fans try and poke holes in our CBs, they point out how they have minimal INTs, but they fail to see that in our defense the Safeties always get the picks.

That's makes me excited.

Gonna be a fun season for Bama players in the NFL.
- Richardson is set to become a top 5 back
- Ingram should finally be used right
- Andre Smith was the best RT in football last year, if he falls to second, it's because of DJ Fluker.
- Dareus and Mark Anderson should both have big years in Buffalo
- I don't know if Jesse Williams has a chance to start, but he may be a guy they plug in for short yardage defenses.
- Barron makes up a really tight secondary with Dashon Goldson and Revis. With the best CB in the game playing in front of him, he'll have some help, unlike last year. (Barber was good last year, but Barber was always beside him/behind him)
- Hightower and Upshaw had solid rookie years, especially against the run, they should both have good second years
- DeMeco Ryans is a beast, still. Will be in a 34 this year.
- Kareem Jackson gave up less first downs and TDs than Sherman did...and Jackson played more snaps.
- Rashad Johnson and Javy bout to run shite in Arizona
- And more with this year's rookie class, plus the likes of Wallace GILLLLLL and Brandon Deaderick.
