He played in 8 games last year. We need at least some depth at that position

Good. Now if we can get the 20+ other players who have no business wearing orange off of our roster, we'll be on mucho better shape

There will always be attrition when a new coach comes in, if not then the new coach is a pussy.

I was about to say. It'd be nice to have the depth, but he's not a special player. Not really sure why UT would recruit him anyway. BUT then again, we had Dooley.

Was needed for depth this year but would quickly be passed up by the DB's we are recruiting in this years class.

Sounds suspiciously like Saban-esque processing. But, surely, other programs wouldn't take advantage of these players like Bama does???
