Hypothetically, if we could only keep one, which would you pick? The dynamo salesman? Or the stalwart juggernaut? I've been a baseball fan longer, so I have to choose Corbin. He has taken Mewbourne's program to levels no one even dreamed of. I hope Franklin can do the same, but my passion sticks with college baseball.

Very tough choice. I would lean Corbin as well. CJF's tenure at Vanderbilt has been much shorter. I hope we have the luxury of comparing Franklin's first 11 years at Vanderbilt with Corbin's first 11 and the arc is similar because Corbin has worked miracles with his program when you consider the fact that he literally had nothing to work with when he arrived.

Corbin

a) Dores can achieve dominance easier in baseball
b) Spring sport means less fan interest competition from Titans and Predators
c) Series games mean more off time spent in Nashville for non locals
d) Baseball is older sport than football

Both. Why choose just one?
