It's weird so you want to delete them but you know if you do, you can't add them back.
It's tragic.

One of the cadets I went to field training with back in '08 (Citadel student) died in a motorcycle accident before he had a chance to graduate. Only spent 4 weeks with him but he was the life of the party in our flight and everyone loved him. Been weird watching his girlfriend go through the grieving process the past 2 and a half years by writing "I love you" posts on his wall. Her last ones she told him about a new guy she met and married. Very sad. Miss that kid.

I'm in my 30's and I've had way too damn many friends die. car wrecks, cancer, medication reaction, military, murders, suicides etc.
The 2 that affect me the most is when my best friend's daughter posts things to him on his page, she's 9 and is really having a rough time with it.
Then there's girl I partied with but didn't know very well, she died of some wierd kind of cancer and her daughters and husband will post photos and things. It really catches me off guard when her husband posts things the youngest says, it's always crazy shite too.
life's not fair at all.

That is sad, but a fricking 9 year old has no business with a Facebook.

she doesn't have an account. His mom lets her post things from his account or hers.

Oh okay. That makes more sense. Still a sad situation.
My roommate in college used to say he wanted to give me his Facebook password, so if he died I could delete his account or either mess with people. Whatever I wanted to do.

Unfortunately I've had to deal with a lot of death over the years (been to over 25 funerals) and I'm relatively young.
Having them as Facebook friends doesn't bother me one bit, its great to go back and look at their old pictures and some with us together. What bothers me is people that barely knew them going on and posting essays about how they were best friends or going to get married. What's actually hard is seeing their actual best friends or significant others break down and post things to Facebook. I just personally don't get it, I've never actually updated my status once.

My Mom has kept my brother's FB page active and a lot of people post on it with messages from time to time to him. For some people it's therapeutic IMO.

When I die I want people to update my accounts and tweet and stuff to freak the frick out of people. Something like "These worms down here wont get the frick away from me"

I remember when a poster on the LSU Recruiting board died in a car wreck and a couple of days or weeks later someone that knew him was accidently posting under his account.

No one here would know if I died.
ETA: ok, maybe a couple of people

There are only 5 people left who, if they died, I would actually go to their funerals, and at least 4 of these would kill me. Anyone else and I go to visitation, pay my respects, and get the hell out of there.
