Why didn't he follow his father's footsteps?
I'm too young to know the recruiting story.
I'd assume because UT was relevant at the time, and Ole Miss was mediocre as always.

Only correct answer here

It had a lot to do with 2 things. Cooper having that spinal problem and no longer being able to play...Peyton wanted to play with his brother.
Also, Ole Miss was getting ready to go on probation at the time of his recruitment which I believe really swayed him from Ole Miss.

Because Ole Miss was about to get hit with the worst probation since SMU at the time of his recruitment, and Archie didn't get along with tommy tuberville.

Because his decision was understandable given the circumstances he would have found himself in at Ole Miss. We got stuck with a terrible probation, and were lucky to field teams that were as competitive as they were playing with a little over 50 scholarships for a while.

Knew his brother would win bigger games in the NFL someday, so he figured he better have the best shot possible at winning big games in college.

Peyton never did anything wrong to hate him. I believe he puts money into the program along with Archie, Eli, and Cooper.

the way ole miss has been for the most of the last 20 years since Peyton was coming up you'd think this has been the case all along

Is it trolling if it's full of fact?

Tuberville wasn't big on the Mannings. When he was coaching at Ole Miss....he was dead set on getting Tyler Campbell and skipping over Eli. Eli was set on choosing between Texas and Virginia before Cutcliffe arrived in Oxford.

Not your best attempt.
