I'd be willing to bet $1,000 dollars that he chooses UK. I'm aware that the "insiders" and what not on the main sites are leaning USC.
And I rarely post about "sources" but I literally actually do have about as close of contact as you can have with Drew, and I can almost guarantee he will be a Wildcat come Friday. Still a long way until signing day though, although I think wherever he chooses this Friday is where he will sign.

I became a lot more confident in him choosing USC when Wiltfong and Niebuhr picked USC. Also, Mangus is going to see Barker this week. I think the Gamecocks are in a good position here. It is always a battle to pull kids from their childhood favorite teams, but this guy is a football player and we're talking about Kent as that team.
Good news is while he would be an awesome addition to this class and we definitely want him to be a part of it, we have a lot of potential at the QB position and it's not like we "must have" him commit.

Yes, because no nationally ranked QB from the state of Kentucky has ever turned down another SEC school to attend the University of Kentucky.
I get the confidence because USCe has been recruiting him the hardest and longest. Joker and Co. absolutely shite the bed in Barker's recruitment before Stoops and Co. showed up. But some of you all are cracking me up in thinking we can't nab him.
