Insane footage. Looks like a load-shift accident to me. Nothing the pilots could do if it shifted the weight to the tail just after take-off. Prayers for the families

Could have put the nose at level and given full power (still may not have worked in a plane that big)

Probably pretty close to full power taking off out of Bagram as it is, certainly didn't have enough time to or elevation before the stall.

If it was some big arse military machines shifting aft there's probably not a whole lot you could do, and judging by the gear being down, it probably happened some time right at or after rotation.

Tough deal. Prayers to the families.

Word is, plane was carrying vehicles and the load shifted. Pilot got plane level at time of impact, but pretty much SOL at that low of an altitude.

All 7 on board confirmed Americans by the contract company. RIP.

Wouldn't make a difference.

In the radio controlled world the saying is a nose heavy plane flies poorly, a tail heavy plane flies once. It's just as true for a real aircraft (intentionally unstable fly-by-wire excepted).

Low altitude, low speed, load breaks loose and shifts the center of gravity all the way to the rear = what you saw on the video.
