You know you're a parent when your son is converted to a rabid Cornhusker fan by his teacher and you're proud. My sons teacher is Rex Burkheads mom and she has brainwashed him beyond hope.

The bright side is he loves college football now. Rex came to his class Friday and you would have thought my son met and hung out with an NFL pro bowler. I have a pic and my son made me blast it on FB (twitter too even tho I don't have many followers).

Hope the rest of you with kids do a better job than I have.

I'd threaten to get the said teacher fired.

And no, not kidding.

She has influenced him beyond sports so much. It's insane. He/we were lucky that he was able to get a teacher in his life that has molded him so much. He has trouble with school (struggles bad) and she has made a remarkable difference.

If it wasn't for that I would be raging pissed.

However, we were watching a hog basketball game and the little punk started talking crap to me about Arkansas. Squashed that immediately. Not allowed in my house.

I wouldn't disown them, but their portion of the inheritance would go to charity! They don't have to attend Fayetteville, but they better love calling those Hogs!

Blasphemy...I would ground them and beat with a belt until they realized their trangressions.

shite never turns out the way it should with parenting.

My ex is an aggie. Thank fricking god he at least hates a&m.

My daughter already loves the razorbacks and loves high school football A LOT, so I think I can redeem my parenting with her.

Maybe be thankful that at least he's not a longhorn fan.

I came home late one night to see my girlfriend (who was a semi-Texas fan until I converted her fully) teaching my 3 year old the fight song. My eyes got pretty dusty after that . Little man also can't go to sleep without his Razorback Pillow pet, hopefully you can at least get him to pull for Arkansas too. Worse comes to worse show him the 1964 game against them.

It's easier for your kids to be hog fans if you live in Arkansas and they can attend Razorback events. It is a little more challenging if you live out of state.

True. His teacher being the mom of a well known former Plano RB (Plano is one of those Texas schools that truly puts football and certain players at god levels) that also attended Nebraska certainly doesn't help.

Just glad he didn't succumbed to the longhorn and aggie nonsense.

One day he will come to his senses. He will find out that Santa isn't real and that Nebraska sucks!

I'd just go Old Testament on him and sacrifice him to the spirit of Hugo Bezdek.
