Billy and Sid were Northport fellas, I believe.
Didn't know that. I know Billy lived in Huntsville until he passed recently. Wes, the father of the the two in college now, is on the radio locally. I see Keith around all the time because we live in the same community and cross paths often.

Yeah, it was either Northport or Duncanville...or some other tiny BFE place outside of TTown.

I've only known two USC QBs. Steve Tannehill and Garcia.

Pretty sure Garcia was on his 12 th yr of eligibility.

Seemed like Dennis Johnson was the backup RB at Arkansas for 10 years.

Am I the only one that thought Ryan Brewer was at USCe since Brad Scott recruited him upon his hire in 1994, then just left school after Spurrier got there.

Gillesi (sp) RB for FLa finally figured out this year he was not Gillespi from Fla back 6-8 years ago or how ever long it's been. I had to look it up to realize Gillesi wasn't the same RB.

Here's an obscure one: Tyler Love at Alabama.

I remember he was a 10-star can't-miss recruit. I remember because his school choice announcement was interrupted by breaking news on Kennedy's assassination.

And he hasn't done a damn thing besides hang around the athletic complex.

I believe the record holder is now and will always be Damon Duval who kicked for Auburn from 1965 through the 2002 season.

HAha how right you are!! I forgot about this guy but, yes, he had at least a 15 year career it seemed like.
