Thanks for making the SEC the best conference in the country and for making your team and fans proud. Wishing them all a successful, long, and injury free career!

I believe there were over 20 from the SEC west alone. It's hard to believe that many players come through each year and the teams just reload and mostly play at high levels. The SEC is King!

Currently 16(8each) from Bama and LSU.

Just check another thread and currently 27 from the SEC west.

Florida: 8
Kentucky: 1
LSU: 9
Mississippi State: 3
Missouri: 2
Ole Miss: 0
South Carolina: 7
Tennessee: 4
Texas A&M: 5

Quick SEC dominance stat breakdown:

63 out of 254 drafted players came from the SEC. This is 24.8% of all drafted players coming from a single conference.

Also, 4 SEC schools with 8 or more players drafted.

Just proves the point that if you want to get to the NFL, the SEC is the way to go. 57 and counting....

can't confirm but saw that...

The same number of players have been drafted that played in the SEC championship game as the entire Big 10 has had drafted...

I also saw somewhere that during the 2011 LSU-Alabama games, there were 28 players on the field that got drafted. With Ware getting drafted that should go up to 29. Just insane.

Damn!! Currently: Bama(9), LSU(9), UGA(8) and UF(8) leading the way with 8+ from each team.

4 Teams with 34 Players Drafted this year.

That's almost a full 2 deep on a NFL roster and is 2/3 of a full roster on an NFL team.

You could probably make an entire starting defense from those players and it would probably be better than the Saints D last year.
