Have no doubt that all this has been covered, but lets do it again, bitches...

1. Neither of the present scholarship QBs will be the starter this Fall. If they are, we're in trouble. Both of'em still hesitate WAY too much in throwing the ball. Frazier hesitates a bit more IMO, but Wallace throws the ball like a damn shot-put. Both of them are going to get a WR killed on the bubble screen the ball takes so damn long to get there. PLEASE let Nick Marshall or Jeremy Johnson be good enough to be an SEC starter!

2. Tackling = much improved.

3. DL didn't impress at all really, but I don't think they were playing anything but a Base defensive set.

4. No LB stood out to me, but I can't say I saw any examples of the ankle-dive tackling technique either, which was an encouragement.

5. Actually encouraged by the secondary. I like how Garrett and Therezie played the Star (I'm putting the Star here because I think it fits the label better than LB). And I was satisfied with the CB performance.

6. If the freshman RB can contribute quality minutes and ability this Fall, we're fine at RB. Payne was at the very least a Spring Game beast. And Mason still looked good.

7. I like the H-back/TE work. They were getting open a lot. And the QBs were missing them or not throwing to them a lot.

8. WR's... urg. Not good yet.

9. OL has potential. Definitely have decent depth IMO.

10. Special teams were a joke in this game, so no comment.

11. Was the judging criteria for the Toomer's Oaks video contest for the stupidest? Or corniest? That was painful to watch.

12. I forgot I have very little hair left at this point in my life and I forgot to wear a hat. THIS IS BAD.

We have a LOT left to do before the Fall to become a good team. Freshmen have an opportunity to play at pretty much every position except OL, CB, and special teams, IMO.

Great job by everybody making it to the game. J-H looked *great* almost to capacity for a Spring Game.

Amazing what an impact the starting qb can have.

We will probably having a losing record (like 4-5 wins) if we have a repeat of last year. However, with a good qb (not a Cam, but say a Murray or AJ), we could win up to 9 games IMO.

My best guess is still Marshall and a 7-8 win season.

Well, if it comes down to the case that NONE of them can throw the ball adequately, Marshall would definitely be your best option.

I have NO problem going with the freshman though if he turns out to be your best option in the passing game.

I think if we could get a half way competent QB we could be dangerous.Frazier should never be behind the center ever again and FRICK THE WILDCAT!

I think our offensive line will be pretty damn good as the year goes along. Our shitty QB will at least have more time to throw.

Pretty much mirrors my thoughts on the team, but I feel I saw WR improvement overall. Oh and I wore a hat.

Holland had 2 or 3. I know, I know, you're absolutely shocked

Reed was the only one consistently dropping passes. Coates and Bray both made some impressive catches IMO

I still have hair (sorry for your loss) but my arms got burnt oddly if that makes you feel any better

Everything else is pretty spot on

We don't have a sure handed guy like Blake or Darvin Adams but the guys we do have are much more explosive and if they do catch the ball can turn routine plays into big plays.

I hope I am wrong, but the word 'bust' is starting to creep into my consciousness when seeing Reed's name.

He had some talent around him to say the least but Gus helped win the SEC West with a Fr QB at Arkansas.

Seems like a pretty accurate thread...

I'm kind of proud of the OP myself.

It's getting kind of old bumping all these auburn threads trying to call out fellow auburn fans

Most everyone here was down about last season, no need to bump every thread to point out how wrong we all were, especially when the people who are bumping these threads are lurkers who never share their opinion anyway. We get it, we sucked last year and some of us were not very optimistic coming into the year

Leave the crow eating for rival fans.

Yeah this wasn't a good one to bump unless he wanted to provide evidence that beatbammer knew what he was talking about.
