Bama fans, who will man the NG position

Will Bama start a true freshman at nose guard this year. A'Shawn Robinson and Darius Paige looks more talented than both Ivory and Lake.

not likely. Ivory will start and be pushed by Lake. I dont think Robinson or Paige will get much work at NG this season but they both might play some DE.

Ivory was pretty good at NG today and Kelly is just gonna be a ridiculously good C
A'Shawn Robinson is an outside DE in a 3 man front and slide inside in a 4-man front but he's a TF once he hits campus, but he's not a NG
Paige might be in the rotation
Our 1st and 2nd DL string is pretty set that was MORE than apparent today

Yeah. I agree with Ivory/Lake. This D-Line is going to be fricking huge.

If Ivory plays a lot we are in trouble versus teams that run out of traditional formations. LSU, besides being really good, gives us so many fits because they get in a pro I set and run the football.....effectively.
Ivory doesn't have the size nor the strength to play nose guard. I look for Lake to come out of Fall camp as being the starter.
