You expected better from them?
Don't post this on the SECr, I don't think it would end well

If they are there today, fights will ensue

I'm sure several will show up tonight when the crowd dies down

This was not surprising (yawn), but a reminder.
I would probable be banned if I posted this on the RANT... Some on this board will not want it posted here.

Well I rather it not be posted here, especially today. But it was bound to be posted. Let's just remember they aren't all like that, and while they (and others) might take jabs at our fanbase today, they are only doing it to get a rise out of us. Don't get caught by the trolls, today is a day of remembrance. We just need to ignore them.

Bring eggs to throw at them.

Meh.
To me, bama fans like that just embarrass the school and fan base. They have managed to do it on a national level now and I really think the bama fan base as a whole is more poorly thought of than any other fan base out there.
Everyone knows a lot of bama fans are like this now. It embarrasses the good bama fans, and even though they deny it, it is a constant reminder of how pitiful a disrportionately large portion of their fanbase is. So, let them have at it. Maybe some will make an arse of themselves today during the ESPN coverage as well. Whatever, doesn't bother me.

Take the high road gents. They are consistently showing their true colors. Now if one of them tries to burn the toilet paper you will see me break them. WDE

Have not seen any today. Lots of folks at Toomers. Trees being rolled.

Saw one today decked out in head to toe in bama hat and national championship t-shirt. He was being heckled hard

Saw two decked out in their Bama gear. One at the game and one after.

I'll attempt to beat a mfer in that shite tonight.

If they are stupid enough to wear it around like that on a day that means so much to Auburn they deserve to get something.

There won't be any problems there. I was out on college street in 1999 after bama won for the first time at JH after thier fans had promised to roll the trees if bama ever won in AU for almost a decade.
Every bama fan that left a bar heading towards the corner was followed that night. There were hundreds, maybe a few thousand other AU students and fans that had the same idea and it just wasn't going to happen.

I have never understood that mindset. I saw a woman dressed in bama gear in line for a coke yesterday.

@WarBlogle: Not only was this Bama fan at Toomer’s today, but he also had to be stopped from removing bark with a box cutter. LINK

The front read "Real friends don't let friends go to #Auburn." Inappropriate attire for THIS weekend. Stay classy, #Bammer.

Tired of those stupid fricks. WTF is wrong with so many of them?
And it isn't that "every fanbase has them". That is mostly a bullshite excuse to rationalize their behavior.

I think there are AU fans just like them but it is a matter of how many. Much more classless Alabama fans than Auburn fans just because of how many become fans of Alabama. Many choose Bama because its the "state school" while Auburn is chosen mostly because they have a tie to AU

True. And the majority did not attend college so they choose bama football, not the university.
Pat Dye said it best IMO. And he is possibly better qualified than ANYONE alive to make the observation having coached over a decade at bama and coached at AU for a decade as well.
When asked to describe the difference between AU and Bama fans/supporters, he said,
"Alabama people love Alabama football"
"Auburn people love Auburn"
Personally I think there is a fundamental difference there and it is something bama fans do not get. You would never see what happened saturday at AU happen at alabama with so many gathering at one place away outside of the football stadium. Never.

I am not sure. You ever hear of an AU fan doing something like Updkye did? Or teabagging opposing fans in a resturant for no reason? Maybe there are a few out there somewhere, but I really think the ratio has to be at least 50/1 or 100/1 bama to au fans like that. Otherwise you would hear about it. Or AU fans showing up at bama's spring game or at bama celebrations with anti-bama stuff on constantly. I am sure it happens on occasion, but to say every fanbase has them dismisses the vastly dissportionate amount bama has (IMO).
