Just wondering; making no predictions.

Texas A&M men remain No. 1 in nation, Aggie women move up to No. 2

Stealing LSU's track coach is still paying off for A&M.

Not really. It's still too early in the season. Some of the projected rankings are probably still using PR's from last season and I don't think either Arkansas or A&M has started using their full rosters yet. T&F rankings usually aren't a good reflection of the strength of the team until near the very end of the season.

Either way, the title should come down to a battle between us and maybe Florida and then everyone else is just filler at the meet.

Choking up 3 consecutive NC's in men's and women's? Is that what you mean by choking?

TheCheshireHog's reply is probably spot on. It's good to see 4 SEC teams doing well in the national rankings (along with UF, LSU is top 10 in men's and women's).

Edited to add: Good luck to the Hogs, until it counts.

Didn't LSU's women win the national championship last year?

The weird thing to me is the "who gives a shite" posts have been from fans of schools that are doing quite well. LSU is currently ranked #10 men, #4 women. Auburn is #7 men, (not quite so good but still) #19 women. I would think the "track is not a sport" posts would come from fans of schools with a crappy track program.

Football rules. But until the Fall, for me, T&F beats the hell out of baseball or anything else offered. You're welcome to your wrong opinion.

Worried? It's a sport and nobody on here has anything to be worried about unless you or someone in your family has an incurable disease or headed into harm’s way in Afghanistan, Iraqi, or some other shite-hole. Damn! Some of you posters on here are really beyond belief.

I'll get worried when y'all get about 30 more titles.

Arkansas should probably be worried about their tennis program. It's probably the worst in the SEC, and Missouri doesn't even have half of one

I like the "off" sports. But football is king. Until they gay up the sport and outlaw hard tackling

C'mon. Really? Do you worry about football? If so how do you compare that to fighting in Afghanistan? And if not, why are you here???

That's a valid point if you insist on an historical perspective. Personally, for the present I don't care what A&M or Arkansas or anybody else did 40 years ago. It's a great bragging point but c'mon! That's maybe just me. If I clung to that outlook I'd have no hope of A&M ever surpassing t.u. in Texas in pretty much anything. But I think most disinterested parties can see what's going on there. (1968 recruiting has what, exactly, to do with 2013 recruiting?)

I'm hoping the Hogs continue to rack up wins until it counts. Along with Florida and LSU. Great, great year for SEC T&F.
