If either and/or both were to go down, which team could recover better from a loss like that?

Are you kidding?

Bama's scheme is so QB friendly, they could win with a 3rd string QB.

McCarron going down would put in either RS Freshman Alec Morris, but probably true Freshman Cooper Bateman. However, his supporting cast would be excellent. He might struggle for a few games, but if he can do enough to not lose, Bateman would be fine

Manziel, but not by a lot. If McCarron went down, then Bama would struggle a lot more than most Bama fans would like to admit

This can't be a real question... Remember Greg McElroy? He put up good numbers for Alabama and they won a National Championship with him barely doing anything.

Johnny Manziel, and IMHO, it's not even close.

Alec Morris would get the job before either of them.

Without Manziel, A&M probably wins 8 or 9 games last year.

Without McCarron, Bama still wins the title.

I'm pretty sure Blake Sims would go in immediately after the injury, but I'm not sure how long he would stay there.

Alabama could recover easily. McCarron is just another cog in the Alabama war machine

Johnny Manziel really makes A&M great, not the other way around.

You think yall win 8 or 9 w/o the Heisman Trophy winner?
I think w/o JFF, yall would've lost to:
UF, LSU, BAMA, OU, LaTech, and maybe OM.

It is extremely important for our offense to be balanced well. If AJ goes down, there is a huge lack of experience behind him. I imagine we would lose a game or two if he went down.

That being said, it is Manziel, and it is not close.
