I know Hog fans hated him but this is not really addition by subtraction. They will really feel losing Young, Powell AND Mickelson all at once.

powell and young will hurt. Mickelson was awful on offense and mediocre on defense.

His minutes would have been cut drastically next year with Clarke, Harris, Portis and Kingsley all in front of him.

You are losing 2 bigs and now have 2 coming in, he still would have played quite a deal of minutes. Also, do you not know your own system? Anderson likes to play as many bodies as possible.

If you aren't hurting for scholarships (Ark only has 2 guys committed) than you would definitely want the proven depth that Mickelson brings.

We have 3 coming in. Alandise Harris is a transfer that had to redshirt last season.
He would've played sparingly, I'm sure, but nothing substantial. Despite his height/blocking ability, he was a major liability on defense.

He played 16.6 minutes a game this year, that's a good deal of minutes
