That kid who was safe at first who didn't run outside the base path...

That ump was a real dumbass.

Same goes for the ump on 3rd today, when he missed that foul ball call I jokingly said to my director, "Must be the home plate ump from last night." And it was.

LOL

Rules clearly states he was automatically out.

Runner MUST stay within the grass the final 45 feet.

Umpires definitely missed the correct call, but in the end it had little to no effect on the outcome of the game. LSU had already scored the go ahead run.

Yes I know that coming back from 2 down put more pressure on us than being 1 down but we weren't going to touch Cotton the way he was dealing.

Well, if the call is made correctly, we are down 1. DVH isn't tossed, leaving our fate in the dumb-assed hands of Butler, who decided to pinch-hit two freshmen for whatever reason.

It was kind of demoralizing when that kid scored after that call. That has to be one of the worst calls I've ever seen in a live baseball game.

The kid ran so far out of the base path that it looked like a play from a tee-ball game.

It definitely came at a more critical time of the game, for the Hogs at least. Not much time to recover from it.
