Not surprising considering that Carson can't seem to stay healthy.

Carson wasn't even in the competition, he's playing baseball.
Not really surprised he beat out wilds though, more big play capability. But I expect they will keep competing throughout the season

We have a nice problem to have ... plenty of RBs in the stable and you can bet David Williams plans on making a run at some playing time as well, although I imagine they'll try to redshirt him unless he just lights-it-up like Lattimore did.

If Carson can stay healthy then he is a player though, no doubt about it. Wilds too - he is rugged and probably catches the ball outta the backfield as well as anyone, plus he is a devastating pass blocker and not too shabby running the ball.

I can agree with that decision. We all knew it was going to be Wilds or Davis, then at the spring game, Davis carried the ball only twice for over 40 yards and a TD.

This could still change at almost any point, hopefully both guys will still work hard to get PT and the competition will make them both stronger.

Even though it was a Spring Game, Davis looked really comfortable running the ball and he is hard to bring down. He's going to surprise a lot of the other SEC teams this year that think we're going to be weak this year at RB after losing Latt

Agree with this 100% everybody seems to think that Latti was our ENTIRE running game! They forget about pounding Wilds put on UT and about the explosive outside runs by Davis, all with Latti out 2nd half of past 2 seasons. Add in the abilities of both of our very run capable QB's and man our running game looks very solid!

First time I've missed the spring game in quite a while, and wish I'd seen him in action. We definitely have an even distribution of talent. Now if we can just run block against SEC teams ...
