Again, why does Auburn get to play UGA at home in back-to-back seasons?

because SEC officials know that AU is more likely to beat UGA in Athens than Auburn and they wanted to screw AU over.

We own the NCAA and SEC leadership. Now if we can just find a way to own everything else.

Bridge scheduling. We're playing in Tuscaloosa again next year and have A&M coming back here.

Not quite the same as playing a huge rivalry game away 2 years in a row.

Auburn was not happy about it, next year we have Bama and UGa to end the season on the road. Some schools seem to control the SEC schedule. There were other options besides changing a tradition as this is the first time in our History we have played our two biggest rivals at home..

We have to play Alabama in Tuscaloosa back-to-back. And TAMU plays in Oxford back-to-back.

Was there no way around this? Surely there had to be....

I think we actually wanted it this way for now so we wouldn't have to play LSU and Bama on the road in the same season like we did last year. I'm not really sure what the reasoning behind A&M is except maybe that's just how the schedule worked out for next year.

Because the 2012 SEC schedule came out, Bama was supposed to be A&M's home opener, they didn't want to be, so they changed it last minute where they would be Mizzou's instead. If you note, Alabama was the only team with 4 division home games, everyone else had 3(or 2 in A&M's case). As the divisional record is a tiebreaker, you should never have more home games than anyone else, any more and it would be unfair. But, the SEC offices are in Birmingham, and Alabama and Nick Saban got their way, yet again. Had A&M had 3 division home games instead of 2, they would have had one cross divisional game on the road, instead of both at home, the balance wouldn't have been disturbed. The Crimson Tide gaining an unfair advantage is par for the course, imo. Just something we have to deal with.
