It's a great idea. He would still be a top five pick, and I hear France is beautiful at that time of year.

This was discussed ad nauseum by ESPN about 2 months ago.

IMO even if he plays and gets hurt, he'll be a top 10 pick.

Also as someone said, Clowney isn't exactly the smartest guy out there.

He's explaining his decision as one not made because of football, but because of the amazing experience he will have studying abroad
