I'll be happy with 7 or 8 this season, I just want to improve on last season. In all honesty, I thought we would be lucky to get 4 wins with the team we had last year coming off a 2-10 season.

I think The Vandy game will be a good marker of how our season will go, and I think we will win that game. If we hadn't shite the bed, it would've been ours last year, and we are returning more players this year and adding to the depth. Call me a homer, but I think Ole Miss could go 8-4 if not 9-3 this year in regular season.

8-4

A good season is unlikely for either Vandy or Ole Miss if they lose that opening game. If we lose to Vandy, we will probably be underdogs to 5 of the next 6 opponents.

The Texas game is a very intriguing matchup.

I would trade the Arky and Auburn games in your post but other than that, I agree with you.

5 worst case-L's to Vandy, Tx, Tx A&M, Bama, Aub, LSU, MSU

8 best case- L's to tx, Tx A&M, Bama, LSU

As much as OM fans dont want to admit it, their schedule is brutal. A 1-6 start is not out of the realm of possibility. I don't think it happens but their first 7 is murderers row and Pete Boones fault

at Vandy
Cupcake
at Texas
at Bama
at Auburn
TX A&M
LSU

It's grade A ridiculous. Sometimes I feel like Larry Templeton and Pete Boone had some kind of weird conspiracy theory to screw us.

Anyway, if OM gets through that stretch 5-2 the entire SEC should start shitting themselves, especially if 1 of the L's was @ TX

A lot rides on the Vandy and Texas games early. If OM can get to 3-3 (or better obviously) going into the LSU game, I like our chances down the home stretch.

I agree 100%. I think the Vandy game is huge simply for the mental aspect of it. OM has some kind of strange mental block with them. Vandy has never fielded a team as talented as OM but gives y'all fits. If y'all beat Vandy I think it will be some sort of mental barrier breakthrough that will lead to a big year
