Auburn didn't beat the teams of "most" fans. I'm sure the butthurt fans help comprise the faction of skeptics. But they represent some of that faction, not most of it.
For example, I view the title as tainted because I think Cam was paid. My team didn't play 2010 AU.

Who cares what other fans think?... the hardware is still sitting in the cases at the athletic complex, the rings are still on their fingers... the memories are still there.
I get what point he's trying to make, but honestly... why should we care?

I think the board here seriously overestimates how much the average football fan cares about this shite. I have no doubt in certain circles disgruntled fans will forever bitch about us winning it, but that's the exception, not the norm, so again, who gives a shite what you or paul finebaum and his band of mongaloids think.

You should care because AU doesn't receive the national recognition and respect associated with winning a MNC.
You guys can ho-hum all day in Auburn, but everyone else more or less refuses to give the accomplishment much weight.
It's been relegated to an accomplishment recognized almost exclusively by AU fans. But as fans, what good is that? We all think our respective programs are the shite. So in a way, AU is no different than teams that haven't won a BCS title because its viewed by most in the same light.
It just kind of sucks.

If you read the AU creed you see that they did not cheat. Not in 2010 or any other time.

Yeah this pretty much sums it up. It becomes about the perspective of Auburn and when does it begin to hurt the reputation of the schools athletic program.
