Am I reading that right, did you guys not play a single OOC game outside the state of LA?
I pointed this out in the pre-season. I believe it garnered nearly 20 pages.

Anyway, this season is playing out like everyone thought it would. The class of the west is Arky and LSU, and it's going to come down to the last couple of weekends. No surprises here. Arky is playing good ball as of late. See you in a couple of weeks

Arky fans are starting to reclaim that preseason #1 again.

Considering we open SEC play with Ole Miss, @SC, MSU, @Bama, LSU, glad we're off to a good start.

Hopefully another series win @Bama next week.

Arky's SOS is worse than ours but to hear them tell it they've been playing the Washington Nationals and we're going up against JV squads

They're Arkansas. Preseason rankings and hollow boasting about what "will" happen which never seems to come to pass is all they have

I'm excited to see that series. I'm curious about how good Bama really is. I see Arky taking 2 of 3 and probably will be close to sweeping.

Yeah it is. LSU baseball is a revenue driver across the entire state.

We're the Kentucky/Bama of this sport.

I love how LSU fans actually think their schedule is even close to Arkansas' because some websites calculator.

Not that hard to look at the 2 schedules and easily see Arkansas' is WAY tougher all the way around.

The best team LSU has played all season thus far is Lamar for fricks sake.

According to my list, we are supposed to sweep them. Dropping one to MSU was not on the schedule. We will have to sweep LSU now. Sorry :(

Why does it even matter at this point? Seriously? It's conference play now, and that's the only thing that matters.

I'm sure Lafayette appreciated the infusion of a couple thousand dollars for that Tuesday night game in February.

If Ole Miss was playing worth a shite, I'd say Bama will lose their next 9 conference games, but they can get one on Ole Miss most likely.

Its not all that different now...the kicker is that LSU OOC SOS was significantly better than arky's going into SEC play by all major publications (even though we didn't have to leave Louisiana).
We can play the eye test game that Ultimate was trying to use when Arky got swept on the road in Arizona, or we can go with the opinions of professionals that do this for a living.
I choose professionals, and our SOS was 28 going into conference play, while Arky's SOS was hovering 150
