This really isn't hard...
1 A&M- good demographics in a huge, college hungry state
2 UNC- solid demographics + household hoops brand
3 Missou- solid demographics and decent football and basketball programs.
4 VT-bad actual demographics (no real support in NOVA), good football for now dependent on coach. Nothing else, ever.

And could we stop with all these vague references to "demographics" AND "support"? This is irrelevant. The only thing that matters for this expansion is cable contracts. It doesn't matter how much imaginary "support" a school has in an area, as long as that area's cable company has to keep them on television. Virginia Tech will always been on television throughout Virginia.
