Ladies and gentlemen of the SECRB, this is how you title a thread. Well done Billy.

And even though I don't know shite about the recruit, congrats on the pick up.

He doesn't have a UGA offer, but UGA doesn't have many LB slots available this year.

There are other beast LBs this year they are holding out for like Raekwon McMillan (from Georgia).

Other Gates offers right now include KY, OkSt, and UT - more to come, surely.

Other Gates rankings:

4-star on 247
3-star on Scout.com

Neither did Kevin Minter, Perry Riley, or Kelvin Sheppard.

The idiot fans that don't like OOS recruits without homestate offers bother me. Especially for Georgia. The state has too many good players for UGA to offer all of them without burning bridges somewhere.

It's like Louisiana this year, where there are great prospects all over the place, but LSU can't offer every one of them. Except in Georgia, it's every year.

Yeah it wasn't a knock on Gates just a reference. We have a connection because we signed a TE from the school last year.

We've had some good Louisiana players over the years that LSU never offered (Kendrick Lewis, Mike Wallace, Marshay Green, Kentrell Lockett, etc)

But yeah I concur, you can't sign all the top guys in your state, especially if you recruit nationally.

I saw him in the playoffs this year. If this kid lives up to his potential he could be special at OM. Nice grab

Nice pick up guys. Good assessment on recruiting in Georgia as well. Too many players to offer all of them, but sadly we do let our fair share of good ones get away. Congrats.

Freeze is doing a really good job.

I never thought that Kiffin would be the recruiter that he is, dude honestly may be one of the best in America.

it's a mixture between him and Freeze....but if our DL is solid next season and we pull a class anywhere close to what we just did...Kiffin gets a DC job at a big school.

Kiffin didn't have a lot to do with this particular recruit. This was Coach Harris mostly with help from Freeze and ALlen.

But yes Kiffin is awesome and we are very fortunate to have him.
